    Nice...

Fits Kenwood 6430F2 like a glove. I like that you can charge the radio without removing the case.

    2. Thumbs...

Very easy to use a little elbow grease to make the snaps fasten when fitting on your radio. Radio case doesn’t interfere with your screen and holds it tightly to your radio. Great job.

    CHIEF

I purchase one with a strap and one without. I have never used a strap but wanted to try one, so the strap unit was for me. The other one was for my Deputy Chief, he has a strap. I put mine together and used it for first time on a call yesterday. It seemed to work well until I went to get back into truck, I was tanker driver on this call, and radio was bumped by seat belt hook and changed radio to zone 6, we were on zone 1. I had to take radio off shoulder to see how to change back to zone 1. We have just got Kenwood radio and have had Motorola in the past. I did not have my channel lock button engaged, which would have prevented this. I plan to get a leather case and try that also. My DC has leather and has had no issues. I may return the one for him as it has not been opened. Thanks Scott Owen Salemburg FD Chief
