I ordered this product because I'd had a really good experience with another product from Turtleback. I had previously ordered the horizontal leather holster with a metal belt clip. That's the belt clip that swivels. It lasted longer than any other holster that I had purchased to date, but eventually gave up the ghost. Ultimately where the clip connects with the holster pulled out of the metal support. This didn't surprise me because I subject the holster to a lot of strain. I thought I would try this holster which doesn't have a rotating clip for change. Although it is extremely well-made, like the other one, I find its fixed position, in the vertical, to be inconvenient. I wear the holster constantly, moving it from the side to the front and back, on a motorcycle and in the car and this clip just doesn’t have the flexibility that I need. Although they explicitly ask that if you have any concerns to contact customer support, I did not, since there isn’t anything wrong with the clip. I just ordered another one of the horizontal clips that I’d had in the past. I may end up using this one from time to time, depending on the occasion. Like all their holsters the manufacturing is excellent. The magnetic clips work just right, closing easily but easy to open and access the phone. Because it is made with high quality leather, it has a little rigidity, and a little more bulk than some people may want, but the clip is less bulky than the rotating clips. Also because it's leather, and good quality rigid leather that provides protection, is can't be quite as snug as some other holsters, there's a little bit of slack, which allows for a small case/cover. Depending on how you carry the phone, you may find that the backside of the magnets over time will rub the screen of your phone and mark it. Either store the ;phone facing your body, or buy a cheap replaceable plastic film to cover the screen. I'm confident that this holster will last most users a long time, as in several years, depending on use.
