This is the second Turtleback case i have purchased. The first case held up so well, my flip phone went obsolete (3G to 4G) long before the case wore out. The case never wore out. I was positively impressed with the design, workmanship, and thought put into the first one I had for my LG phone. Eventually the metal belt clip got loose and kept slipping off my belt. The ratcheting knob also had started rotating to the side on its own. But as far as the leather and the clear wind wearing out, it didn't happen. Rivets never came loose. It stayed sound and rugged, enduring well everything I do with it on my hip. With a little TLC from Lexol leather cleaner/conditioner from time to time, I kept it looking like new and it kept my phone looking the same way..
When I changed cell providers and upgraded my flip phone, (I HATE SmartPhones), I HAD to have a new case and SOON as this is the way I take care of my phone. Thank goodness Turtleback had what I needed and came to the rescue once again. I have no doubt this case will also outlive the 4G to 5G transition as well.
I've noticed that like the previous case, on the rare occasion I take a picture with the phone, it is necessary to unsnap the upper portion of he case to keep it out of the picture, It's a small price to pay for an otherwise great piece of American design and workmanship. I'll just bet you have an industrial designer or 2 on your staff too, huh? Well it shows!
